UPSA Membership Philosophy

We Are Inclusive:

Since we are advocating sales standards and seeking to elevate the standards of the profession, we believe there is room for all salespeople and key stakeholders in their success.  That's why our members receive all the member benefits for a very low membership fee.  If for some reason your employer won't pay for it, your membership dues are tax deductible.  

When you join UPSA, you are entitled to discounts to local events in your region as well as discounts off the UPSA Credentialing test.  We encourage you to attend  local events, join our group on linked in, and network with like-minded professionals.

All our memberships are "Headquarters" only memberships. If there is a local chapter near you, you may join it.  Otherwise, it is suggested you join in the region/country of your primary selling territory.  The money you invest goes towards advocating for sales professionals, supporting the universal selling framework, and infrastructure as well as other member benefits such as Selling Power Magazine subscription (for U.S. Members only)*.  A portion of the membership is also applied toward administration costs (administration, membership services, etc) for the entire year including this website. All of this helps to facilitate local and regional diversity and specific needs, as well as build a community of like-minded sales professionals near you. 

Most professionals spend at LEAST $500.00-$1,000.00 a year on continuing their professional status (think of IT professionals, project managers, marketing professionals, financial professionals, etc).

We give you a voice

UPSA has a dual approach to help give you a voice, find ways to collaborate and grow your business, as well as become a leader.

We are building a local chapter structure in major cities throughout the globe. Through this focus, UPSA is the only non-profit association dedicated to supporting the world-wide community of sales people. We are dedicated to your success!

We are supporting thousands of sales people, sales managers, and others with the universal selling framework as our guide.

The benefit to you is continuing education, networking and the access to the UPSA “brain trust” to help your continue to excel in your career.

We are also building an online virtual network of Sales Communities by industry vertical (such as sales professionals selling to the government, selling IT, etc). Through our online communities focus, UPSA is the only non-profit association that provides and facilitates communication between sales professionals online and through LinkedIn, our virtual networking too. The Sales Communities are also built around the universal sales standards that UPSA supports.

To join UPSA, you must join at this website. If you do not see a chapter city where you are located, simply join the "Headquarters" memberships. This is to facilitate local and regional diversity and specific needs, as well as build a community of like-minded sales professionals.
