Steps for becoming a CRSP (click on each for full requirements)

1 | Complete a Certification Preparation Course
Before applying for the UPSA Credentialing Examination, it is highly recommended that you complete a preparation course sanctioned by the UPSA Standards Committee.

You may choose to complete a preparation course through one of two paths:

  • The UPSA Credentialing Exam Self-Study Course.
Sanctioned by the United Professional Sales Association, the self-study course for the UPSA Credentialing exam allows you to gain the knowledge needed to pass the exam on your own.

  • UPSA Compliant Training Programs.
Through UPSA compliant programs and UPSA Registered Training Partners that offer the UPSA Credentialing Preparation course, you have the flexibility to attain the knowledge you need to successfully pass the UPSA Exam.  Many UPSA Registered Training Partners have a Certified & Registered Sales Professional Trainer who has the ability to use various delivery formats and schedules such as classroom instruction.  Many of the UPSA Registered Training Partners also offer in-house educational programs for individual companies. The UPSA Standards Committee maintains a list of Registered Training Partners, (all are independent firms), designed to assist individuals in preparing for the UPSA Credentialing Examination. The UPSA Standards Committee neither evaluates the quality of the review courses nor endorses any one program over another.

Request a Review for an Existing Certification
Certain industry credentials are recognized by the UPSA Standards Committee.  Other credentials offered by previous certification bodies are also recognized.  Find out if your previous certification satisfies some or all of the experience requirements set by the UPSA Standards Committee.
